Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (“FCS” or the “Company”), announced that FCS Chief Financial Officer Nathan H. Walcker has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2020. Walcker will succeed current Chief Executive Officer Brad Prechtl, MBA, who will retire from FCS, effective July 30, 2020, but continue to serve as a consultant through April 2021.

Lucio Gordan, MD, will lead an educational session at the Community Oncology Advocacy Summit Scheduled for July 15, 2020.

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) recently celebrated the start of construction of its new Trinity Cancer Center. When complete in early 2021, the 37,000 square foot facility will include radiation oncology and next-generation PET/CT imaging technology along with 27 exam rooms and 52 chairs for chemotherapy and other infusions. Patients will also have access to participate in cutting-edge clinical trial research.
